My fine art practice is rooted in my faith and a deep love for my Southern California home. I’m especially drawn to the landscapes and native plant life of the California Channel Islands, where I spend time observing and learning from these rare ecosystems firsthand.
My work focuses on the islands’ striking terrain and resilient, endemic plants. Through my paintings, I aim to capture not just how these places look, but how they feel—the quiet, the scale, and the presence of the life that exists there. I hope my work invites a deeper connection to these landscapes and inspires care for their future.
