My name is Kristen, and I’m a Santa Barbara–based artist inspired by the landscapes and native plants of the California Channel Islands.

If you are a fellow nature-lover, an outdoor enthusiast, a native plant aficionado, an environmental conservationist, or someone who finds joy and inspiration in the beautiful island vistas of Southern California, then this artwork is for you.

My acrylic paintings all stem from time spent on the islands—hiking, observing, and getting to know these rare ecosystems up close. I’m especially drawn to the plants that have adapted and persisted there, and my work aims to capture their unique character and story. Through my art, I hope to help others connect with these special places and feel inspired to protect them.

15% of proceeds from all my art sales goes to Channel Islands Restoration, to support their continuing efforts to protect and restore these incredible island ecosystems.
